Final Results

JOHNS CREEK, Ga. – Eastern Kentucky finished second at the two-day Georgia State Invitational on Tuesday, one shot behind Xavier.
 
The Colonels turned in rounds of 296, 307 and 307 for a total of 910.  Xavier's final round 300 moved the Musketeers from a tie for third to first with a total of 909.
 
Lipscomb (912) was third and Jacksonville State (913) was fourth.  Others included Seton Hall (5th), Little Rock (6th), Georgia State (8th), Arkansas State (10th), Boston College (12th) and Dayton (16th).
 
The 16-team event was contested on the par 72, 6,225-yard course at Rivermont Golf Club.
 
Ragnhildur Kristinsdottir led EKU and tied for fourth with a 54-hole total of 220 (+4).  She carded rounds of 74, even-par 72 and 74.
 
Vilma Efraimsson (228) tied for 15th.  Elisa Orduna Shackleton and Rylea Marcum tied for 24th.
 
The regular season ends Monday and Tuesday when the team hosts the Colonel Classic at the University Club at Arlington.
