Track and Field Colonels Head to Bowling Green for Hilltopper Relays

RICHMOND, Ky. – Members of the Eastern Kentucky University track and field team will compete at the Hilltopper Relays on Saturday in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
 
The Colonels will compete in sprints, hurdles, and field events at the meet. The EKU women will also race the 4x100 meter relay for the first time this season.
 
Senior Quantasia Perry will run a leg of that 4x100, as well as the 100 meters and 200 meters. Perry is the reigning ASUN champion in the indoor 200 meters. She opened the outdoor season by running a personal-best 11.61 in the 100 meters and 23.82 in the 200 meters. Both of those times currently rank No. 2 in the ASUN.
 
Action on Saturday gets underway with field events at 10 a.m. ET. Races on the track open at 1 p.m. ET. The Colonels should wrap up their day around 5:30 p.m. ET.
 
Following this weekend, EKU track and field returns April 7-9 at the Duke Invitational in Durham, North Carolina.
