RICHMOND, Ky. – Rivals Eastern Kentucky and Morehead State will meet for a non-conference baseball game on Tuesday at Earle Combs Stadium in Richmond.

-  Eastern Kentucky leads the all-time series 121-105-1. The Colonels have won two straight over the Eagles, but the teams have split the last six meetings. EKU won 13-4 in a non-conference meeting on April 20, 2021.

Kendal Ewell was chosen as the ASUN Player of the Week and as a Collegiate Baseball Newspaper National Player of the Week after hitting .722 with five home runs, 10 RBIs and a 1.611 slugging percentage last week.

Cameron Kalandros hasn't allowed a run in his last four relief appearances, a stretch of seven and two-thirds innings. He has allowed three hits, hasn't walked a batter and has struck out six. He earned his first save of the season on Friday.

Isaac Milburn will start on the mound. Milburn, a left-hander, is 1-2 with a 5.08 ERA. In his last start, the Lexington native pitched three innings against Xavier, allowing one run on two hits.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
- Morehead State sits at 16-22 overall and 5-7 in the Ohio Valley Conference. The Eagles are 2-6 in their last eight games, including being swept at Southeast Missouri this past weekend. MSU lost two of the games in extra innings.
