RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University beach volleyball team is set host its annual home tournament presented by Tropical Smoothie Cafe at the EKU Beach Facility on Saturday, April 6.
The Colonels will take on Liberty first at 9 a.m. and then McKendree at 2 p.m. which will be EKU's Senior Game.
EKU returns home after a road double header against rival Morehead State last Wednesday, where the Colonels completed the season sweep of the Eagles taking both matches.
Winners in six of their last seven matches, the Colonels look to improve on their 13-8 overall record and tie the program's record of 15 for most wins in a season.

Sarah Mitchell look to continue their winning ways having won eight of their last nine matches propelling them to the No. 16 ranked top-flight pair in the NCAA according to College Beach Volleyball.
SCOUTING THE FLAMES
The Colonels defeated the Flames to open the 2024 season back in February, 5-0.
The Flames are 14-12 on the season and winners of their last two defeating Spartanburg Methodist College and St. Andrews (N.C.)
All-time, EKU has never lost to the Flames, winning the previous four meetings.
SCOUTING THE BEARCATS
McKendree comes to Richmond with a 3-9 record this season having lost to Lindenwood, 5-0 last time out.
