RICHMOND, Ky. – Riding a 5-game winning streak, Eastern Kentucky University will host Northern Kentucky on Tuesday at Earle Combs Stadium.
The game will now begin at 2 p.m. and air live on ESPN+.
Tuesday will be Country Music Day and $2 Day, with $2 tickets, beer, soda and hot dogs.
THE COLONELS
- EKU (17-31, 11-13 ASUN) moved into a tie for seventh place in the Atlantic Sun Conference standings after sweeping in-state rival Bellarmine over the weekend.

Justin Carinci has hit .500 with four doubles and 10 runs scored during EKU's current 5-game winning streak.

Conner Davis hit .538 with two doubles, five runs and six RBIs in the 3-game sweep of Bellarmine. He had a .600 on-base percentage. Davis has reached base in 18 straight games.

Isaac Milburn hasn't allowed a run in his last three appearances, totaling 7 2/3 innings. He has allowed four hits, walked four and struck out seven.

Elijah Underhill will start on the mound. He is 2-2 in 11 appearances, including four starts this season. Last week in a start at Marshall, Underhill allowed just two hits in a career-high three innings of work. He struck out a career-best four and walked just one while not allowing a run.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
- Northern Kentucky is 27-20 this season and 15-9 in the Horizon League. The Norse ended their series against Youngstown State with two wins over the weekend.
- First baseman Liam McFadden-Ackman leads the team in average (.401), home runs (18) and RBIs (70). He is second on the team with 57 runs scored.
- NKU has one of the most prolific offenses in the nation. The Norse are seventh in NCAA Division I in walks, seventh in on-base percentage, 10th in runs, 12th in hits, 18th in average (.315), 21st in doubles and 49th in home runs.
- Nick McClanahan is the most called upon arm out of the bullpen. The right-hander has made 24 appearances and leads the team with four saves. He is 1-3 with a 7.34 ERA and 53 strikeouts in 41 2/3 innings.

- EKU holds a 30-18-1 advantage in the all-time series. The Colonels are 16-9 in games played in Richmond. The first meeting between the two programs came in 1972. EKU has won seven of the last nine against the Norse.
- The last meeting between the two programs came earlier this season on March 26 in Richmond. The Colonels snapped NKU's 11-game winning streak with a 20-15 victory. Carinci went 3-for-6 with two doubles, four runs and four RBIs.
Max Williams drove in five, hitting a home run and a double while going 2-for-3 with three walks and a run scored. Treyvin Moss was 3-for-5 with two runs and four RBIs for Northern Kentucky.
