RICHMOND, Ky. -  The men's and women's cross country teams of Eastern Kentucky University will be split on Friday at the Wisconsin Nuttycombe Invite and Angel Mounds Invitational.
 
The Nuttycombe Invite is one of the premier annual races each fall. The highlight of the event an 8-kilometer men's race and a 6-kilometer women's race. The event also includes "B" races for both men and women.
 
The Colonel will be in the men's B race at 12:10 p.m. ET with the men's championship race at starting at 1:30 p.m. ET.
 
Last season, the men's team finished 7^th out of 24 teams led by Justine Kipkoech who finished the 8K race in a time of 23:40.6.
 
The Angel Mounds Invitational will be held in Evansville, Indiana being jointly hosted by the University of Evansville and Southern Indiana.
 
The day begins with men's 8K at 10 a.m. ET followed by the women's 6K at 10:50 a.m. ET.
