RICHMOND, Ky. - With just one week until the ASUN Indoor Conference Championships, the Eastern Kentucky University track & field team is preparing for one last tuneup as they make their fourth trip to Boston to compete in the Terrier DMR Challenge/Last Chance Meet, hosted by Boston University.
The one-day meet is set for Friday, Feb. 21 and serves as the last chance for athletes to set NCAA qualifying marks before the conference championships.

Last time out, the Colonels split between the Centre College Indoor Invite and the Boston University Valentine Invite. In Boston,
Taha Er Raouy recorded a top ten finish in the men's mile, adding another 3:54 time to his resume with a time of 3:54.67 to finish in eight-place in the field of more than 350 runners.
In Danville,
Mallory Hodge and
T'ya Suber finished 1-2 in the women's 60m while
Irene Rubio Miralles and
Bryce Alan Thornsbury did the same in the women's 600m.Â
Additionally,
Kristan Simmons set a new second-best all-time mark in the women's weight throw at 16.77m (55'-0.25") while
Lariah Wooden continued to improve her personal best in the women's shot put with a throw of 15.44m (50'-8") - less than half a meter away from the current school record.
