RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky baseball team pounded out 11 hits including four home runs to pick up its first victory of the season today over Oakland, 12-2. The victory was the 100th of head coach Elvis Dominguez's career.
Junior Charlie Yarbrough had three hits and two home runs, including a solo shot in the first to stake the Colonels (1-2) to a 3-0 lead after junior Tyler Nix hit a 2-run homer a batter earlier. Yarbrough and Nix finished the day with four and five RBI, respectively.
