- Fresh off a thrilling win over Tennessee, the Eastern Kentucky University baseball team will begin its annual spring break trip with a three-game series at Presbyterian College this weekend. The Colonels enter the series with a record of 2-2 while the Blue Hose come in at 1-8.

EKU's weekend rotation will be sophomore right-hander Matt Harris on Friday, junior right-hander Stephen Hefler on Saturday and freshman right-hander Anthony Bazzani on Sunday.

The Blue Hose will trot lefty Jordan Pace to the mound on Friday, lefty Steven Richardson on Saturday and right-hander Jesse Harmon Sunday.

The Colonels have been led at the plate this year by the 3-4 combo of junior Jayson Langfels and senior Anthony Ottrando. Langfels, the OVC Preseason Co-Player of the year, lit up Tennessee on Tuesday with a home run and two doubles. Ottrando, meanwhile, has blast four home runs in four games in 2010.

PC is paced offensively by designated hitter Mack Hite and catcher Nate Horton. Mack is currently hitting .334 with five doubles while Horton comes in at .346 with a team-best six RBI.

Following the series with PC, the Colonels will head north for games with UNC Greensboro and North Carolina A&T and then a three-game series with High Point.
