RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University women’s tennis team rang up an impressive 7-0 victory over visiting Dayton Friday in the Greg Adams Tennis Center. The Colonels are now 5-1 in the 2012 indoor season.
“I thought we grew up a little more today and improved our team unity,” Eastern head coach
Rob Oertel said. “That is going to be important because the schedule is going to toughen up over the next few weeks.”
EKU won all six singles matches in straight sets highlighted by a dominating performance by freshman
Amandine Faouzi at the No. 1 spot.
Eastern Kentucky is right back in action tomorrow at Kentucky. Match time is set for 10 a.m.
