BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Eastern Kentucky University women’s tennis team opened its Spring Break trip with a convincing 7-0 win over UAH Sunday afternoon. The Colonels (7-4) won all six singles matches in straight sets.
Four of the six EKU players recorded at least one 6-0 set, including sophomore
Marcela Jimenez who did not drop a game in either set at No. 6 singles.
Eastern Kentucky is back in action on Tuesday, March 12 in Fort Walton, Fla., against Troy.
