RICHMOND, Ky. –
Eastern Kentucky’s baseball team will host a pair of home games against Appalachian State and Marshall on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Both games are scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.  After dropping all three games at Southern Illinois over the weekend, the Colonels (5-18) have lost seven straight games.

Sophomore right-hander Cameron Langfels (0-2) will make his third start of the season for EKU on Tuesday.  Junior lefty Chad Farmer (1-0) will start for Appalachian State.  Wednesday’s pitching match-ups have not yet been announced.

The Mountaineers are 14-9 overall and 6-5 in the Southern Conference.  ASU has won two straight and four of its last six.  Marshall is 11-15 in 2013 and 1-2 in Conference USA.  The Thundering Herd is scheduled to play at West Virginia on Tuesday.

Junior catcher Sean Hagen leads Eastern with a .313 batting average.  Senior Shaun Ball has a team-high three home runs and 13 RBIs.  Alex Leach leads Appalachian State with a .370 average.  Jaylin Davis has a team-best four home runs and 17 RBIs.
