RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky will look to continue its three-game Ohio Valley Conference winning streak when Tennessee-Martin visits Turkey Hughes field this weekend for a three-game series.

The series opener is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Friday.  Saturday’s game will get under way at 2 p.m.  Sunday’s series finale is set to begin at 1 p.m.

The Colonels (9-20, 5-7 OVC) have won four of their last five.  The Skyhawks (9-23, 2-13 OVC) have lost 10 of their last 11.  Eastern is riding a three-game conference winning streak after sweeping Morehead State last weekend.

Sean Hagen leads EKU with a .347 batting average.  Shaun Ball is batting .289 with a team-best six home runs and 23 RBIs.  Byron Johann leads UT Martin with a .347 average.  Wade Collins hits .325 with team-highs in home runs (3) and RBIs (25).

Eastern’s weekend rotation consists of Brent Cobb (2-5, 5.93 ERA), Ben Gullo (1-2, 3.24 ERA) and Shane Grimm (3-3, 6.81 ERA).  Tennessee-Martin will counter with Dan Tobik (1-4, 4.71 ERA), Taylor Cox (0-3, 7.45 ERA) and Dalton Potts (3-4, 6.23 ERA).
