RICHMOND, Ky. – The Jason Stein Fall Elite Baseball Camp will be held Oct. 27 at Turkey Hughes Field on the campus of Eastern Kentucky University. The camp is for grades 9-12 only. The full cost of the camp is $125.

Stein is beginning his sixth season as the head baseball coach at EKU. The Colonels won a share of the Ohio Valley Conference championship in 2012 and advanced to the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament championship round in 2013. Eastern's 16 regular season titles are more than any other OVC team. Stein has also coached 26 players to All-OVC recognition in just five years (16 All-OVC players and 10 OVC All-Freshman players). He has seen three of his players selected in the MLB First Year Player Draft.

The 2012 Fall Elite Camp was very successful in hosting players that would later play college baseball at different levels. The camp provides high school players with a great opportunity to visit the campus of Eastern Kentucky University, gain valuable instruction from the EKU coaching staff, other college coaches and current professional players, participate in a pro-style workout and showcase their skills in a controlled game. Campers will be provided with an official EKU 2013 Fall Elite Camp T-shirt and lunch.

This camp provides the opportunity for the EKU coaching staff to re-evaluate you as a player, or evaluate you for the first time as a prospect.
