RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University women's basketball team is looking to finish its season on a high note when Tennessee Tech comes to McBrayer Arena at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday for a "Pink Out". Pink shirts will be given out, while supplies last, in support of breast cancer awareness.

Shameekia Murray once again led the Colonels with 17 points. Sophomore Michaela Hunter also had a strong showing with 13 points and eight rebounds.
Murray, the reigning OVC Co-Newcomer of the Week, has averaged over 19 points-per-game in the last three games. The South Georgia Technical College transfer is shooting 55 percent (22-of-40) from the field in those games.
Tennessee Tech (5-23, 2-13 OVC) is looking to bounce back and finish its season strong after losing at Morehead State on Monday, 90-82. Junior Samaria Howard paces the Golden Eagles with 15.2 points-per-game.
