MURRAY, Ky. – In a rematch of the 2014 OVC championship match, host Murray State defeated the Eastern Kentucky University women's tennis team Friday afternoon, 5-2.
This was the first conference loss of the year for the Colonels (8-7, 3-1 OVC).
Murray State (11-3, 5-1) jumped on top by taking the doubles point and then easily won the bottom three singles matches to take the team victory. The Racers also defeated EKU in last year's OVC title tilt.

Amandine Faouzi split sets at the No. 1 match before dropping a super tiebreaker to Murray State's Andrea Eskauriatza, 10-7.
