RICHMOND, Ky. – After splitting two dual matches last weekend against Xavier University and the University of Indianapolis, the EKU women's tennis team will host two dual matches this weekend at the Greg Adams Tennis Center.
The Colonels (2-2) will host Lincoln Memorial on Friday at 4 p.m., before Western Kentucky University travels from Bowling Green on Saturday. Saturday's match is scheduled for 1 p.m.
Lincoln Memorial (2-0) won its first two matches of the spring with wins over the University of the Cumberlands and Union College last week.
Meanwhile, the Hilltoppers of Western Kentucky University (1-2) defeated Lipscomb last week after dropping their first two matches of the season.
EKU fell in Friday's match at Xavier, before avenging the loss with a 5-2 win over Indianapolis on Saturday.
Freshman
Viktorija Demcenkova went 2-0 in singles play and 1-1 in doubles play last week. Demcenkova picked up a 6-7, 7-6, 1-0 (10-7) win over Xavier's Alex Brinker and Allie Smith from Indianapolis. She posted a 1-1 mark in doubles play, after picked up a win with teammate
Margaux Lacroix over Indianapolis at the No. 3 spot.
