CINCINNATI, Ohio –The EKU women's tennis team will travel to Cincinnati on Friday to face off against Xavier University.
 
Friday's match is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Eastern Hills Indoor Tennis Club.
 
The Colonels (1-1) opened their season at home on Friday with dual matches against Miami (Ohio) and the University of the Çumberlands at the Greg Adams Tennis Center. EKU fell to the defending Mid-American Conference champions, Miami, 5-2, but avenged the earlier loss with a 7-0 win over the University of the Cumberlands.
 
Xavier (2-2) fell to Louisville in its most recent match, after picking up wins over Liberty University and 55th-ranked Indiana University on Jan. 30.
 
EKU returns to Richmond to host the University of Indianapolis on Saturday. Saturday's match is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m.
