RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky baseball team looks to win its third Ohio Valley Conference series in a row as the Colonels take on visiting Southern Illinois Edwardsville.
The series is set to get underway Friday night at 7 p.m. ET. A Block Party courtesy of EKU Housing and Campus Rec will be held prior to the game with FREE food, FREE t-shirts and an inflatable zone.
Saturday's game will also start at 7 p.m. ET, while Sunday's series-finale is set for a 1 p.m. ET start.
The Colonels (15-18, 5-7 OVC) notched their second consecutive OVC series win at Tennessee-Martin, outscoring the Skyhawks 21-5 in two victories last weekend.
SIUE (6-23, 3-12 OVC) has lost seven of its last nine OVC games.

Kyle Nowlin is tied for fourth in the nation with 13 home runs, while fellow senior
Mandy Alvarez is tied for twelfth with 55 hits.
Friday's starting pitcher match-up features EKU right-hander
Eric Nerl (3-2, 4.50 ERA) taking on P.J. Schuster (0-4, 5.68 ERA) from SIUE.
Saturday's duel will see
Alex Hamilton (3-3, 4.70 ERA) on the mound for the Colonels, and Jarrett Bednar (0-7, 6.75 ERA) hurling for the Cougars.
Sunday will pit Eastern's
Hunter Dunn (2-3, 5.84 ERA) against Conner Buenger (0-6, 13.36 ERA) on the mound for SIU Edwardsville. Dunn is coming off his best start of the season last weekend against UT Martin where he went five and one third innings, striking out seven batters and giving up one earned run.
