RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University women's tennis team will wrap up play at home this weekend with a set of league matches against Belmont University and Tennessee State University.

The Colonels (7-9, 3-2 OVC) finished the weekend 1-of-2, dropping a match to No. 55 Marshall, but winning their only conference matchup of the weekend against Jacksonville State.

In the 4-3 win EKU won four straight singles matches, with Laura Argente clinching the match at No. 2 singles over Stella Cliffe by scores of 6-1 and 6-3.

The Bruins come into Friday's match with a 3-14 mark on the season and a 1-5 record in league play, while Tennessee State comes into Saturday's match with an overall record of 6-6, but are showing a 0-6 skid in conference play.

First serve is set for 10 a.m. both days at the Tom Higgins Tennis Courts.
