RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky will play at Northern Kentucky on Wednesday before hosting Morehead State for a three-game conference series at Earle Combs Stadium this weekend.
 
Wednesday's game against the Norse is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.
 
INSIDE THE SERIES
-  EKU leads the all-time series with Northern Kentucky 19-13-1.

Louis Davenport III, a junior right-hander, is expected to start on the mound for the Colonels.  He is 2-0 this season with one save.  He earned one of his wins against No. 11 LSU.  In four appearances, he has a 4.76 ERA and 15 strike outs in 11 and one-third innings.
 
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
-  Northern Kentucky is 0-16 this season.  The Norse have played series against Troy, Furman, Samford and Dayton, and a single game at Tennessee.  
 
-  Redshirt senior outfielder Jake Murray leads the team with a .333 average and 11 runs scored.  
 
-  Junior infielder Andrew Bacon is hitting .306 with 10 runs and a team-high 13 RBIs.
 
-  Left-hander Noah Richardson will start for the Norse.  The sophomore has an 0-2 record and a 15.00 ERA in nine innings of work this season.
