RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky will play Tennessee Tech this weekend in a three-game Ohio Valley Conference series.

The first game of the series will take place on Friday at 6 p.m. Saturday will feature a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
- Tennessee Tech is 14-19 overall and 7-11 in OVC competition. The Golden Eagles enter Richmond on the heels of Tuesday's 9-7 victory over in-state rival Belmont.

-  Freshman shortstop Brett Roberts leads the Golden Eagles in several offensive categories, boasting a .371 batting average, 25 RBIs, and 16 stolen bases. Roberts enters the game riding a 15-game hit streak and has recorded a hit in 31 of TTU's 33 games.

-  Freshman left-hander Ty Fisher will start the opener. He leads the rotation with a 4-3 record and a 3.59 ERA in 52 and two-thirds innings.  Fisher struck out five batters last Friday against Belmont. Junior righty Tyler Sylvester is scheduled for game two. He is 0-4 this season with a 6.16 ERA. The starter for game three has not been determined.
