RICHMOND, Ky. – Riding a four-game winning streak, Eastern Kentucky will host in-state rival Western Kentucky University on Tuesday at Earle Combs Stadium.
The game is set to begin at 4 p.m. and will air live on ESPN+. Tuesday is Faculty & Staff Appreciation Day. Eastern Kentucky faculty and staff can receive two free tickets. There will also be a student tailgate starting one hour before the game with FREE food.

The Colonels will play at Marshall on Wednesday. First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m.
INSIDE THE SERIES
- Western Kentucky leads the series with the Colonels 50-37-3. The Hilltoppers have won three straight in the series, including a 4-3 decision in 14 innings last season in Bowling Green on May 18.
Will King went 2-for-4 with a run and two RBIs in that game.
- EKU leads the all-time series with Marshall 38-25. The Thundering Herd picked up an 8-3 win in Richmond on Wednesday.
Max Williams had three hits in the game. Luke Edwards went 2-for-6 with arun and two RBIs for Marshall.
THE COLONELS
- EKU improved to 7-5 after a weekend three-game sweep of Bowling Green.
- The Colonel pitching staff had a 1.33 ERA in the Bowling Green series.

Charlie Ludwick is hitting .471 with a 1.118 slugging percentage and a .550 on-base percentage. He has three home runs, five runs and five RBIs during that span.

Will King hit two home runs and finished with five RBIs in the first game of a doubleheader against Bowling Green. He is tied for second in the ASUN Conference with five doubles and is tied for ninth with 12 RBIs.

Jordan Fox has made five straight relief appearances without allowing a run. During that span he has pitched seven innings, allowed six hits and two walks while striking out six.

Isaac Milburn will start on the mound against Western Kentucky. The left-hander is 0-0 this season with a 1.17 ERA. In seven and two-thirds innings, he has allowed eight hits, one earned run and four walks.
Niko Leontarakis is scheduled to get the ball at Marshall. He is 2-0 with a 0.69 ERA over four appearances, including two starts. The senior right-hander has struck out 17 in 13 innings while allowing one run. He is third in the ASUN Conference in ERA.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
- WKU is 7-4 this season and also coming off a 3-game weekend sweep. The Hilltoppers out-scored Hartford 25-4 in three games. Western also has a win over Kentucky, 7-5, last week.
- Second baseman Tristin Garcia leads the team with a .425 average. Catcher Ty Batusich has a team-high five home runs and 19 RBIs while ranking second with a .410 average.
- In five relief appearances this season, Mason Vinyard is 2-0 with two saves. He has a 1.04 ERA after allowing one earned run over eight and two-thirds innings. He has struck out 16 and walked three.
- Marshall sits at 9-4 overall this season and had an eight-game winning streak snapped on Saturday with a 10-4 loss to Oakland in the second game of a doubleheader.
- Jordon Billups, a senior outfielder, leads the team with a .391 batting average. Ryan Leitch is hitting .298 with a team-best three home runs and 21 RBIs.
- In three relief appearances this season, 6-foot-6 righty Patrick Copen has a 1-0 record and a 3.46 ERA over 13 innings.
