BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The EKU women's tennis team (1-1) travels to WKU for their third match in two days on Friday, Jan. 20 at 7:00 p.m. ET at the Michael O. Buchanon Tennis Facility. The Colonels faced off against WKU at the Bellarmine Invite in the fall.
THE COLONELS
- Sasha Parkhomenko is undefeated in singles play, winning her matches against NKU and Campbellsville from the No. 4 spot.
- Elena Tairian won against NKU's No. 1 Elizabeth Rozin in singles in a three-set thriller and beat Campbellsville's No. 1 in straight sets.
- Madison Hill won her singles and doubles match with Emmeline Polevoi against her former team, Campbellsville.
SCOUTING WKU
- The Hilltoppers enter the match at 1-0, beating ASUN foe Bellarmine, 4-3. WKU competes against UT Chattanooga on Friday afternoon before facing EKU.
- Last year, WKU posted an 18-9 record. They lost to UAB in the Conference USA Tournament to end their season.
