LOUISVILLE, Ky. – EKU plays at No. 4 ranked Louisville on Tuesday.
 
The game is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. and will air live on the ACC Network Extra.
 
INSIDE THE SERIES
-  Louisville leads the all-time series 58-34.
 
-  The Cardinals, ranked seventh at the time, beat the Colonels 10-3 in Louisville last season.  In 2021, EKU beat then seventh ranked UofL, 6-3, in Richmond.
 
THE COLONELS
-  EKU is 4-4 this season.  The Colonels lost two of three against UNC Asheville over the weekend.
 
-  Newcomer Miguel Larreal leads the team with a .360 batting average.
 
-  Shortstop Logan Thomason is hitting .294 with a team-best seven RBIs.
 
-  Charlie Ludwick is batting .321 with a team leading 10 runs scored.
 
-  Sophomore Isaac Milburn will get the start for the Colonels.  The left-hander is 0-2 this season with a 6.75 ERA, having made three appearances and one start.
 
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
-  Louisville is 6-1 on the season, having swept Bucknell, beaten Xavier in a midweek contest and taken two of three from Bowling Green.
 
-  Right fielder Eddie King Jr. leads the team with a .429 batting average.  First baseman Ryan McCoy leads UofL in runs (10), home runs (4) and RBIs (12).
 
-  Junior lefty Greg Farone has made three appearances out of the bullpen.  He has a 1.69 ERA, one save and 12 strikeouts in five and one-third innings.

-  Kade Grundy, a sophomore right-hander, will start for the Cardinals.  He is 0-0 this year with a 13.50 ERA.  In his one appearance, Grundy allowed three runs in two innings and struck out two.
