RICHMOND, Ky. – The EKU women's tennis team (4-9) starts conference play at home against Lipscomb (3-7) at the Greg Adams Tennis Center on Sunday at 10:00 a.m.
THE COLONELS
- The Colonels enter the match with a 4-9 record as they look to bounce back from a 4-2 loss at South Carolina State.
- Masha Fedenko leads the Maroon and White in singles, boasting a 6-3 record from the No. 1 spot.
- Fedenko and Elena Tairian won their singles matches in straight sets from the top two spots in the lineup against South Carolina State.
- EKU will face off against Lipscomb for the first time in school history.
SCOUTING LIPSCOMB
- The Bisons enter the matchup with a 3-7 mark, most recently falling to UAB, 5-2. Lipscomb competes against Belmont on Friday before facing EKU.
- Sasha Dobranos leads the Bisons in singles play, posting an 8-1 record from the No. 1 position.
- Alina Cheriaieva won her singles match against UAB from the No. 5 spot, 4-6, 6-3, 10-7.
