LEXINGTON, Ky. – The EKU women's tennis team (4-11, 0-2 ASUN) will compete in a doubleheader at #68 Kentucky (8-7, 2-4 SEC) for their final non-conference matches on Tuesday, March 21 at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. at the Hillary J. Boone Tennis Complex.
THE COLONELS
- The Colonels enter the match with a 4-11 record, as they look to bounce back from their loss against Jacksonville State.
- Masha Fedenko leads the Maroon and White in singles, posting a 7-4 mark from the No. 1 spot.
- Madison Hill and Emmeline Polevoi have two wins together as a pair in doubles.
- EKU owns an 0-6 all-time record against the Wildcats.
SCOUTING #68 KENTUCKY
- The Wildcats enter the matchup with an 8-7 mark, most recently beating #18 Florida, 4-2.
- Kentucky is led by No. 74 Florencia Urrutia in singles, who won her singles match against Florida's No. 47 Carly Briggs from the No. 1 spot in three sets, 6-3, 0-6, 6-1.
- Kentucky claimed the doubles point against #18 Florida, winning from the No. 1 and No. 3 courts.
