LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The EKU women's tennis team (4-13, 0-2 ASUN) continues ASUN Conference play on the road against Bellarmine (3-12, 0-1 ASUN) on Thursday, March 23 at 10:00 a.m. at the Eddie Weber Tennis Complex.
THE COLONELS
- The Colonels enter the matchup with a 4-13 record, as they look to bounce back from two 4-0 losses against #45 Kentucky.
- Masha Fedenko leads the Maroon and White in singles, boasting a 7-5 mark from the No. 1 spot.
- Madison Hill and Emmeline Polevoi have two wins together as a pair in doubles.
- EKU will compete in the first dual match against Bellarmine in school history, but the Colonels competed in the Bellarmine Tournament in the fall.
SCOUTING BELLARMINE
- The Knights enter the match with a 3-12 mark, most recently falling to North Alabama, 5-2, on March 16.
- Bellarmine is led by Lailaa Bashir in singles, posting a 7-5 record from the top two spots in the lineup. Bashir has won three straight singles matches.
- Vendula Kryslova and Ekaterina Tikhonko are the leading pair in doubles with a 4-2 record from the No. 1 court.
