RICHMOND, Ky. – The EKU women's tennis team (5-15, 1-4 ASUN) play in their final regular season home match against Liberty (13-7, 4-1 ASUN) on Sunday, April 2 at 10:00 a.m.
THE COLONELS
- The Colonels enter the match with a 5-15 record, as they look to bounce back from their loss against Central Arkansas.
- Masha Fedenko leads the Maroon and White in singles play with seven wins from the No. 1 spot.
- Emmeline Polevoi and Sasha Parkhomenko earned their first doubles win as a pair against Central Arkansas from the No. 2 court, 6-4.
- Daniela Hernandez won her singles match against Central Arkansas from the No. 4 position in straight sets, 6-3, 6-1.
- EKU will face off against Liberty for the first time in program history.
SCOUTING LIBERTY
- Liberty enters the matchup with a 13-7 mark, most recently losing to Furman, 4-2.
- Maria Juliana Parra Romero leads the Flames in singles play, boasting a 12-3 record from the No. 1 spot.
- The Flames are led by Marina Davtyan in doubles, posting a 10-6 record while being undefeated in ASUN Conference play.
