                     FORT MYERS, Fla. – The EKU women's tennis team (5-18, 1-7 ASUN) begins ASUN Tournament play in the first round against #6 Kennesaw State (10-6, 5-3 ASUN) on Saturday, April 15 at 1:00 p.m. at the FGCU Tennis Complex. The winner will compete against #3 FGCU in the ASUN Quarterfinals on Sunday, April 16 at 10:00 a.m.
 
THE COLONELS
	- The Colonels enter postseason play with a 5-18 record, as they look for their first ASUN Championship in school history. They enter the tournament as the #11 seed.
 
	- EKU lost to Kennesaw State by a score of 6-1 on April 8 in Kennesaw.
 
	- Masha Fedenko leads the Maroon and White in singles play, leading the team with eight wins from the No. 1 spot. She earned ASUN All-Freshman Team honors this season.
 
	- Fedenko and Daniela Hernandez are the leading doubles pair with four wins, including a win against the Owls' No. 1 pair by a score of 6-1 on April 8.
 
 
SCOUTING KENNESAW STATE
	- The Owls enter the match with a 10-6 mark.
 
	- Kennesaw State won from the bottom five courts in singles to beat EKU.
 
	- Sofia Madrid earned ASUN All-Freshman Team honors this season while Ji Youn Lee was selected ASUN Third Team All-Conference.
