JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The EKU women's tennis team (5-16, 1-5 ASUN) hits the road to face North Florida (13-6, 5-1 ASUN) on Thursday, April 6 at 10:00 a.m. at the UNF Tennis Complex.
THE COLONELS
- The Colonels enter the match with a 5-16 mark, as they look to bounce back from their loss against Liberty.
- Masha Fedenko and Sasha Parkhomenko lead the Maroon and White in singles play, as they both have a team-high seven wins in singles matches.
- Parkhomenko and Emmeline Polevoi won two consecutive doubles matches from the No. 2 court.
- EKU will compete against North Florida for the first time in program history.
SCOUTING NORTH FLORIDA
- The Ospreys enter the matchup with a 13-6 record, most recently sweeping North Alabama on April 1, 7-0.
- North Florida is led by Kit Gulihur in singles play, boasting a 17-1 mark from the No. 1 spot.
- Gulihur and Ana Paula Melilo are the leading pair in doubles, posting a 15-1 record from the No. 1 court.
