KENNESAW, Ga. – The EKU women's tennis team (5-17, 1-6 ASUN) competes in their final regular season match at Kennesaw State (9-6, 4-3 ASUN) on Saturday, April 8 at 10:00 a.m. at the Betty Siegel Courts.
THE COLONELS
- The Colonels enter their final match with a 5-17 record, as they look to bounce back from their loss at North Florida.
- Masha Fedenko, Sasha Parkhomenko, and Emmeline Polevoi are all tied for the team lead with seven wins in singles play.
- Polevoi won her singles match from the No. 4 spot in a three-set thriller against North Florida, 6-4, 1-6, 12-10.
- EKU will compete against Kennesaw State for the first time in program history.
SCOUTING KENNESAW STATE
- The Owls enter the matchup with a 9-6 mark, most recently beating in-state foe Bellarmine on April 6, 6-1.
- Kennesaw State earned the doubles point against Bellarmine, winning from all three courts.
- The Owls won five singles matches against Bellarmine.
