RICHMOND, Ky. – Riding a 2-game winning streak, Eastern Kentucky University will return to Richmond to host Morehead State on Tuesday and the Dayton on Wednesday.
 
Both games will start at 6 p.m.
 
There will be an EKU Baseball Crewneck Giveaway for students on Tuesday.  Wednesday will be Hispanic Heritage Night at the game.  Both midweek games are $2 Days, with $2 beer, soda and hot dogs.
 
THE COLONELS
-  EKU (4-16, 2-1 ASUN) went on the road and won two of three at Central Arkansas over the weekend.
 
-  After starting the season 4-for-23 (.174) through seven games, Miguel Larreal is hitting .378 (14-for-37) in his last 11 contests.

-  Max Williams hit a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning at Central Arkansas to break a 3-3 tie and send the Colonels to a series clinching 5-3 victory.  He has reached base in 17 straight games.
 
-  Center fielder Ron Franklin Jr. hit .455 with two home runs and six RBIs in the three game series at Central Arkansas.  He slugged 1.182 and had a .538 on-base percentage.
 
-  Freshman right-hander Elijah Underhill will make his first collegiate start on Tuesday against Morehead State.  He has struck out six in 5 1/3 innings this season.  Freshman lefty Bradley Stewart will make his second collegiate start on Wednesday.  He has allowed just one hit and has struck out seven in 4 1/3 innings.
 
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
-  Morehead State is 11-9 overall this season after winning three of four against Eastern Michigan at home over the weekend.
 
-  Catcher/designated hitter Ryan Grabosch leads the team with a .413 batting average.  Shortstop Colton Becker is hitting .411 with a team-best 28 runs to go along with five home runs and 21 RBIs.  First baseman Roman Kuntz has 10 home runs, 31 RBIs and a .304 average.
 
-  Dayton is 12-8 this season and coming off a weekend road series victory against Eastern Illinois.  The Flyers have an 8-5 win over sixth ranked Vanderbilt.
 
-  Left fielder David Mendez leads UD with a .491 average.  First baseman Eddie Yamin IV has a team-high 24 RBIs while batting .233.  Center fielder David Pedanou has 11 steals, 23 runs and is hitting .304.

-  Bradley Poynter, a freshman righthander, will start for Morehead State.  He is 0-0 with a 4.50 ERA through two total innings across three appearances.  Freshman left-hander Ayden Tran will start on the mound for Dayton.  He is 0-0 with a 6.17 ERA across 11 2/3 innings this season.  He has 20 strikeouts and 12 walks.
 
INSIDE THE SERIES
-  EKU is 143-120-1 all-time against Morehead State and has won five in a row in the series.  The Colonels are 79-43-1 against the Eagles in games played in Richmond.
