RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University women's tennis team will open Atlantic Sun Conference play hosting North Florida on Sunday morning at the Greg Adams Tennis Center.
Sunday's match is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. ET, admission is free for all EKU Tennis events for the duration of the 2024-25 season. Those not able to be in attendance can find live stat coverage of the game

EKU (7-12) enters Sunday's conference opener on a two-match losing streak with a 4-0 loss to Mississippi State on March 9 and 7-0 loss to UAB on March 12. The Colonels' last victory came on March 7 on the road against Southern Indiana.
On the year, junior
Marilou Cote leads the club with an 8-8 overall record in singles play and an impressive undefeated 3-0 mark on court No. 2. Her last three wins have come in straight sets.
Additionally, sophomore
Izem Elif Olcer sports a 6-5 record in singles action and junior
Sasha Parkhomenko is 5-5 overall with wins in her last three matches. As a team, EKU has won the doubles point in three of its last six matches.
Sunday's match marks the first of a 9-match conference slate for EKU which will run from March 16 until April 13.
The Colonels will have four home contests against North Florida (March 16), North Alabama (April 4), Lipscomb (April 6), and Central Arkansas (April 13). EKU will also travel for five road matches against Stetson (March 21), Queens (March 22), FGCU (March 23), Austin Peay (March 28), and Bellarmine (March 30).
