RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University women's tennis program announced its 2026 spring schedule on Monday, featuring 25 matches highlighted by 11 home contests and seven games against Power Five opponents.

EKU opens the spring slate with two home matches, hosting East Tennessee State on Jan. 13 before welcoming Northern Kentucky on Jan. 17.
The Colonels return nearly their entire roster from the 2024-25 campaign, when EKU posted a 9-19 overall record and earned two conference victories. EKU finished 5-7 in home tilts last season.
EKU will close the month of January with a road-heavy stretch, traveling to Kentucky on Jan. 17, Dayton on Jan. 19, Indiana on Jan. 31, and Louisville on Feb. 1.
February will feature a heavy home schedule, as the Colonels host five consecutive matches beginning with Eastern Michigan on Feb. 6.
EKU will also welcome Chattanooga on Feb. 7, UNC Asheville on Feb. 13 , Western Kentucky on Feb. 15, and Bowling Green on Feb. 15 until the midpoint of the month.
The Colonels then face a challenging road stretch, playing four matches in three days against strong competition. EKU will visit Mississippi State on Feb. 26, North Alabama on Feb. 27, Auburn on Feb. 28, and Arkansas later that day in Alabama.
March opens with a home matchup against former Ohio Valley Conference rival Jacksonville State on March 4. EKU will add two additional home matches later in the month, hosting Belmont on March 22 and Bellarmine on March 29.
Also in March, the Colonels will travel for road contests at Missouri and Lindenwood on March 19, followed by matches at Saint Louis and SIU Edwardsville on March 27. All matches will take place at visiting venues despite being on the same dates.
EKU will conclude the regular season in April, hosting Southern Indiana on April 1 before traveling to Tennessee for back-to-back matches against Middle Tennessee on April 11 and Lipscomb on April 12.
