RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University women's tennis program is set to host its next four matches at home over the weekend beginning on Friday inside the Greg Adams Tennis Center.
EKU (2-6) will play a doubleheader on Friday against Northern Kentucky at 10 a.m. ET and finish the day against UNC Asheville at 3 p.m.
The Colonels will conclude the homestand with another doubleheader on Sunday against in-state rival Western Kentucky at 10 a.m. and then play Bowling Green at 2 p.m.
Admission is free to the Greg Adams Tennis Center for this week's matches and the duration of the 2026 spring season. Those unable to attend can keep up with the action on live stats and view Sunday morning's match against WKU on ESPN+.
Last week, EKU played two home matches against Eastern Michigan and Chattanooga, coming away with a split day picking up a 4-1 win over EMU and dropping the latter 6-1 against the Mocs.
The Colonels are led by sophomore
Ceylin Ipek who boasts a 3-5 overall record from court three and enters Friday on a two-match winning streak recently defeating EMU's Pehal Kharadkar 6-4, 3-6, 6-4 and UTC's Savannah Presson in straight 6-3 sets.
