Scouting the Competition

Lindenwood

The Lions enter the match 3-1 this season, with wins over Eastern Illinois, Central Arkansas and McKendree.

Nyah Wilson and Susanna Beretti were named the Ohio Valley Conference Pair of the Week after posting a 3-0 weekend in the second flight.

This will be the first meeting between the two programs.

Missouri State

The Bears opened the 2026 season 4-0, going 19-1 in flight play.

Missouri State dropped just three sets during the tournament.

The Bears went a perfect 11-0 at home last season and have not lost a home contest since March 4, 2023—a 3-2 loss to EKU.

Southwest Baptist

The Bearcats went 10-16 in 2025 and welcomed Paityn Walker as their new head coach.

Walker, a former Colonels standout, holds the program record for most career wins with more than 60 and was named All-ASUN Second Team in 2025.

Southwest Baptist has yet to compete this season and opens its schedule Friday against Missouri State.

Central Arkansas

Central Arkansas opened the season 2-2 at the Missouri State Tournament, earning wins over McKendree and Eastern Illinois.

In 2025, Central Arkansas went 12-20 and fell to EKU 3-0 in the ASUN Conference Tournament.
