RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky University's baseball team will host the University of Kentucky on Tuesday. The Colonels and Wildcats will play in Lexington on Wednesday.
Tuesday's game at Earle Combs Stadium will begin at 5 p.m. and will air live on ESPN+. The second game of the series, at Kentucky Proud Park, is set for 4 p.m. and will air live on the SEC Network+.
There will be a pregame tailgate with inflatables, yard games and food trucks before Tuesday's game in Richmond. It will also be $2 Day with popcorn, hotdogs and beer priced at just $2. The first 50 fans will receive a pack of EKU baseball trading cards.
THE COLONELS
- EKU moved to 3-8 on the year after winning one of three at Tulane over the weekend. The Colonels took the middle game by a score of 6-3.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
- Kentucky is 9-2 this season and has won four straight. The Wildcats are coming off a weekend sweep of St. John's, allowing just two runs in three games.
- Hudson Brown leads the team with a .400 batting average. Jayce Tharnish is hitting .378 and has scored a team-high 14 runs. Ethan Hindle leads the squad with 11 RBIs.
- Jackson Soucie has made three appearances out of the bullpen without allowing a run in five innings of work. He has one save, has walked one and has struck out four.
- UK's starting pitcher has not been announced.
