EUGENE, Ore. – Eastern Kentucky University's
Kristian Imroth is the NCAA bronze medalist in the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase.
The senior from Hemel Hempstead, England finished third in the steeplechase final at the NCAA Outdoor Championships on Friday evening at Hayward Field, earning first team All-America honors.
He clocked a time of 8:20.91 in the race.
Louisville's Geoffrey Kirwa won gold in the event, while Tulane's Silas Kiptanui took silver.
This was Imroth's third consecutive trip to the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, and he saved his best for last. He took 21
st in 2024 and 12
th in 2025.

Taha Er Raouy made his NCAA Outdoor Championships debut on Friday, finishing 22
nd in the men's 5,000 meters with a time of 14:20.19.
Er Raouy closed out a stellar season that saw him qualify for both the NCAA Indoor Championships (3,000 meters) and NCAA Outdoor Championships (5,000 meters).
