SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
- Vanderbilt is 19-14 overall and 6-6 in Southeastern Conference games. The Commodores beat No. 20 Texas A&M in the series opener on Thursday before losing the final two games of the series on Friday.

-  Third baseman Brodie Johnston leads the team with a .356 batting average. He also has nine home runs, 27 RBIs and 32 runs scored.
