NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Eastern Kentucky University's baseball team will play at Vanderbilt University on Tuesday.
 
The game will begin at 7 p.m. ET and air live on the SEC Network+.
 
THE COLONELS
-  EKU is 9-23 and 4-8 in the Atlantic Sun Conference after losing two of three this past weekend to Austin Peay.
 
-  In three games against Austin Peay, Kobe Benson had a .600 on-base percentage.  He went 3-for-7 at the plate with three walks.
 
-  In the 3-game series against APSU, Khaleel Pratt hit .400 with four home runs, six RBIs and five runs scored.  He also drew three walks and was hit by a pitch for a .571 on-base percentage.
 
-  Dylan Littlefield is eighth in the ASUN with 29 RBIs and tied for third with nine home runs.
 
-  The Colonels have struck out the third fewest times in the ASUN this season.
 
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
-  Vanderbilt is 19-14 overall and 6-6 in Southeastern Conference games.  The Commodores beat No. 20 Texas A&M in the series opener on Thursday before losing the final two games of the series on Friday.
 
-  Third baseman Brodie Johnston leads the team with a .356 batting average.  He also has nine home runs, 27 RBIs and 32 runs scored.
 
-  Outfielder Braden Holcomb leads the team in home runs (11), RBIs (34) and runs (33) while hitting .311 on the season.
 
-  Nate Schlote has made nine appearances out of the bullpen without allowing an earned run.  The freshman righthander is 2-0 with 16 strikeouts in 12 1/3 innings.
 
INSIDE THE SERIES
-  Vanderbilt leads the all-time series 3-2.  The Commodores are 3-1 in games played in Nashville.  The first meeting was on Feb. 28, 1992 in Macon, Georgia.
 
-  Vandy won the most recent meeting, 10-0, on March 25, 2025.  Gavin Faulkner, Addison Stockham and Christian Howe pitched one scoreless inning each.  Rustan Rigdon was 4-for-5 with a run and two RBIs for the Commodores.
