CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Eastern Kentucky University women's tennis team blanked host Austin Peay Saturday afternoon, 5-0.
 
The Colonels (9-7, 4-1 OVC) bounced back after suffering their first OVC loss yesterday to Murray State.
 
EKU won the top five singles matches to earn the victory. Senior Kristina Labeja remains undefeated in conference action thanks to a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 2 singles. Fellow senior Amandine Faouzi won a tough three-setter at No. 1 singles, 6-3, 2-6, 7-5.
 
Sophomore Marina Marti (No. 3), senior Marcela Jimenez (No. 4) and senior Melissa Gerritsen (No. 5) also came away victorious.
 
Eastern Kentucky will next take on rival Morehead State this Tuesday, March 31 in Morehead.
