RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University baseball team heads to Huntington, West Virginia for a mid-week showdown with the Marshall Thundering Herd on Tuesday. First pitch is set for 3 p.m.

The Colonels (13-12, 1-5 OVC) are hoping to get back on track after dropping three games at Ohio Valley Conference rival Morehead over the weekend.

Marshall (11-10, 3-3 C-USA) has wins over Southern Miss, University of Texas San Antonio, and Western Carolina this year.

The EKU offense is powered by
Ben Fisher and his NCAA leading 13 home runs, 42 RBIs and 38 runs scored. Fisher has homered in seven straight games, an EKU record. His .424 batting average is the best on the team, and fourth best in the OVC.
Daniel McFarland's .407 average ranks second on the team and seventh in the OVC, and he already has a career high four home runs this year.
Shea Sullivan also has a career high in home runs with three, and the third best average on the team with .370.

Casey Collins (2-0) on the mound. Collins has notched wins in his last two outings against Alabama A&M and Northern Kentucky.
