RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University baseball team looks to keep it's momentum going as it opens Ohio Valley Conference play against the Belmont Bruins on Thursday.
The games, originally scheduled for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will now be played on Thursday and Friday due to the incoming winter weather in the Richmond area. The first game of the series is set for 2 p.m. on Thursday, while games two and three will be a double-header on Friday getting underway at noon.
The Colonels (7-6) are riding a four-game win streak as they edged in-state rival Western Kentucky in 10 innings last night, 16-15.
Alex Holderbach notched his fourth hit of the night with the bases loaded in the tenth, bringing
Cornell Nixon home for the game winning run.

Daniel McFarland also had four hits each in a big offensive outing for the Colonels.
Sullivan currently leads the team in hits with 20, and RBIs with 17.
