RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University baseball team finishes its four-game home stand as it hosts the University of Dayton Flyers for a mid-week showdown on Tuesday at Earle Combs Stadium.

The EKU baseball team will be taking shoe donations for Samaritan's Feet, a non-profit organization that provides shoes to children that need them. If a fan donates a new pair of shoes, they'll get a free ticket to the game. If you would like to help the team reach its fundraising goal you can make a donation

The Colonels (21-15, 7-8 OVC) are coming off a weekend series victory over Austin Peay.

The Flyers (10-24, 1-8 Atlantic 10) have wins over Illinois State, UMass Lowell, Georgetown and Furman this season.

Eastern is led by
Ben Fisher's NCAA best 17 home runs. "The Pride of Richmond" also has the second most runs scored in the NCAA with 49, and leads the Ohio Valley Conference with 58 hits, 51 RBIs and a .828 slugging percentage. The Colonels also rely on the bat
Daniel McFarland and his already career high five home runs, 26 runs scored and 21 RBIs.
Shea Sullivan also has a career high five home runs this season to go along with his 31 runs scored.

Hunter Dunn will make his first start of the season when he takes the mound for Eastern. Dunn has a 2-0 record through eight appearances this season, and has only allowed three walks in his 13 innings on the bump.
