RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University baseball team is set to face off with the No. 2 University of Louisville Cardinals on Tuesday. First pitch is set for 3 p.m. at Earle Combs Stadium.

The Colonels (21-19, 7-11 OVC) lost in a mid-week game at Louisville back in February.

EKU is led by
Ben Fisher and his 18 home runs, which ranks second in the NCAA. Fisher is tied for second in the nation in runs with 52, and tied for fifth in RBIs with 54.
Nick Howie has the second most home runs on the team with seven, to go along with his 31 RBIs and 39 runs.
Alex Holderbach's .346 is the second best batting average on the team, behind Fisher's .383. Holderbach also has six home runs, 33 RBIs and 27 runs scored.
Shea Sullivan also has six home runs this year, in addition to his 39 RBIs and 34 runs scored.

No. 2 Louisville (33-6, 17-4 ACC) are led on offensive by Brendan McKay and Drew Ellis. McKay has a team high .388 batting average, and 36 runs scored, good for second on the team. Ellis led the team in home runs with nine, and has the second most RBIs with 37.

Bubba Carter will get the first start of his career on Tuesday. The freshman has a 1.93 ERA through nine and a third innings pitched this season in his six appearances.

The Colonels will stay home after the tilt with Louisville and host Jacksonville State in an Ohio Valley Conference series this weekend.Â
