RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University baseball team heads north to take on the Northern Kentucky University Norse at the Bill Aker Baseball Complex in Highland Heights on Tuesday. First pitch is set for 3 p.m.

Eastern (17-12, 4-5 OVC) has won seven of its last 10 games, including a 10-8 win over the Norse in Richmond on March 21. Â
Daniel McFarland homered twice in the win.

EKU's offense is led by
Ben Fisher and his NCAA leading 15 home runs, 44 RBIs and 43 runs. Fisher also has the second highest slugging percentage in the NCAA at .895, and holds a .412 batting average this season. McFarland's .379 average is second best on the team, and he's got 20 RBIs, 22 runs, and five home runs as well.
Shea Sullivan's 27 RBIs are the second most on the team, while
Cornell Nixon leads the team and ranks second in the OVC in stolen bases with nine.

Casey Collins will be on the bump for the Colonels. Collins earned his second win of the season in the March 21 tilt against NKU.

After the Colonels wrap up their game with the Norse they'll hit the road to take on the Southern Illinois University Edwardsville Cougars in a three-game OVC series. Game one of the series is set for a 7 p.m. start on Friday.Â
