RICHMOND, Ky. – Coming off two midweek victories, Eastern Kentucky University will welcome North Florida for a three-game ASUN Conference series this weekend.

Friday's series opener is scheduled for 6 p.m. Game two of the series will be Saturday at 6 p.m. The series finale is set for Sunday at 11 a.m. All three games of the series will air live on ESPN+.

Friday will be MLB Opening Day Celebration. Fans who wear their favorite MLB team jersey to the game will get in free.  The second EKU trading card giveaway will also be Friday. Baseball Bingo returns as well on Friday, with the first three winners taking home EKU baseball mini bats. Saturday will be Bark in the Park and Hispanic Heritage Night. Bring your dog best friend to the game and receive a free dog frisbee. Sunday will be Kids Day. All kids 12 and under receive FREE admission and get to run the bases after the game. There will also be an Easter Egg Hunt after the game on the field for the kids.

THE COLONELS
- EKU is 10-15 overall and 1-5 in ASUN Conference games. The Colonels have won two straight, scoring in double figures in both games.

DJ Sullivan has a nine-game hitting streak. The newcomer hit a three-run home run on Wednesday at Dayton, finishing 3-for-6 with a run and five RBIs.

Miguel Larreal leads the team in hitting (.354) and on-base percentage (.452). He has reached base in 17 straight games.

Rese Brown, a junior right-hander with two quality starts this season, will take the mound for game one. He is 1-3 with a 6.30 ERA and 37 strikeouts in 30 innings.Â
Cameron Kalandros, a junior righty, will make his fourth start of the season on Saturday. In six total appearances he is 0-1 with a 2.66 ERA over 20 and one third innings.Â
Luke Reed is scheduled to start the series finale on Sunday. He will make his second start of the season. In eight appearances the junior right-hander is 0-1 with a 2.35 ERA over 15 and one-third innings.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
- North Florida is off to a 14-11 start to the season and sitting at 3-3 in ASUN games. Over their last four games, the Ospreys beat Central Florida in a mid-week and then won two of three at home against Stetson.

-  Center fielder Austin Brinling is hitting a team-best .367, leads the squad with 13 stolen bases and is second with 24 runs scored. Catcher Jakob Runnels is hitting .364 with a team-high seven home runs and team-best 27 RBIs.

-  UNF has a .294 team batting average, 40 home runs and 44 stolen bases. The Ospreys are first in the ASUN in steals, second in home runs and third in average.
-  Peter Holden, a redshirt junior right-hander will start game one for UNF. Holden is 3-2 with a 3.41 ERA and 40 strikeouts in 37 innings of work. Dominick Madonna, a senior right-hander, is scheduled to start game two. He is 3-2 with a 6.75 ERA and 18 strikeouts in 28 innings.
