RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky University's baseball team will conclude the home portion of its 2026 schedule with three games this weekend against Lipscomb.
Friday's series opener is set for 6 p.m. ET. Saturday and Sunday's games will begin at 1 p.m. each day. The first two games will air live on ESPN+.
Baseball Bingo is back on Friday, giving fans a chance to win an EKU Swag Bag. Friday will also be the Military Appreciation Game. Those showing some form of military ID or wearing their EKU VETS gear will receive free admission. Military Appreciation t-shirts will be given away.
Saturday will be Youth Sports Day and Senior Day. Kids 12 and under will receive FREE admission. There will be a postgame autograph session and a FREE baseball clinic. Food trucks and inflatables will also be at the stadium.
Sunday is Junior Colonel Club Day with members getting into the game for FREE. Kids have a chance to be the "Play Ball" kid, guest public address announcer and can run the bases after the game. The Kids Day Combo includes a hot dog, chips and drink for $8.
THE COLONELS
- EKU is 11-34 after beating Northern Kentucky, 16-6, on Tuesday. The Colonels are 4-17 in conference games.

Pedro Moreno and
Boone Shevey combined for seven hits, six runs and eight RBIs in the win at NKU. Moreno finished 4-for-6 with a home run, three runs scored and five RBIs. Shevey went 3-for-5 with three runs and three driven in.

Jack Briese started against Northern Kentucky and pitched three scoreless innings. He allowed two hits, two walks and struck out two.
Cade Schneider provided two innings of scoreless relief, giving up just one hit and one walk.

Khaleel Pratt is hitting .409 with five home runs, five doubles, 12 runs scored and 19 RBIs. He's got a .569 on-base percentage and a .909 slugging percentage over that span.

Bradley Gagen and
Jacob Price have been EKU's regular Friday and Saturday starters, combining for 20 starts this season. Gagen, a redshirt junior left-hander, is 0-3 with a 7.90 ERA. Price, a redshirt junior righty, is 3-3 with a 5.89 ERA.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
- Lipscomb is 19-22 overall and 12-9 in ASUN games. The Bisons have won two straight conference series over North Alabama and Austin Peay, but lost at home to Tennessee Tech on Tuesday.
- Infielder Cam Pruitt leads the team in average (.336), RBIs (37) and stolen bases (12).
- Outfielder Hutson Miles is hitting .317 with a team-best 39 runs scored, 10 doubles and 10 stolen bases.
- Alexander Llinas, a senior left-hander, has started a team-high 11 times this season. He is 3-3 with a 6.39 ERA and 53 strikeouts in 49 1/3 innings. Right-hander Kaleb Kantola has made 11 appearances out of the bullpen and has a team-best six saves while posting a 1-0 record with a 2.41 ERA.
INSIDE THE SERIES
- Lipscomb leads the series 19-8 and is 7-4 against the Colonels in Richmond. The Bisons have won six of the last eight meetings.
- In the most recent meeting, Lipscomb picked up a 9-2 victory on March 29 in Nashville.
David Alvarez finished 2-for-5 with an RBI for EKU. Pruitt went 3-for-4 with a run and four RBIs for Lipscomb.
