Sophomore Richie Rodriguez is EKU's second leading hitter as he enters the week with a .383 batting average and a team-best 10 stolen bases.

Hard-hitting Victor Gomez continues to lead the Thundering Herd at the plate as he is now hitting .339 with a team-high eight home runs and 35 RBI.

Junior right-hander Macon Smith (0-0, 10.35 ERA) is scheduled to start against WVU on Tuesday while freshman right-hander Anthony Bazzani (1-3, 8.67 ERA) will throw on Wednesday at Marshall.

The Colonels will resume conference play this weekend when they travel up I-64 to play Morehead State in a three-game series.
