Bill Walker was a member of Eastern’s swimming team four years, serving as co-captain in 1967-68. He was selected as a member of the coaches All-American Collegiate Swim Team for three seasons (1966-68), receiving seven College Division All-American certificates. 

Walker earned All-American recognition for the following events: 1,650 yard freestyle, two seasons; 800-yard freestyle relay, three years; 400-yard individual medley, one year; and 200-yard individual medley, one year. 

He coached the swimming team at Lexington Country Club.
